Beku cable protection system

Act now and actively shape the energy transition.

In order to achieve the Paris climate protection targets, the energy supply must be converted from fossil fuels to renewable energies within a few decades. The energy transition now requires the sustainable expansion of the energy infrastructure, both for power generation and distribution, as well as their intelligent control via data networks.

We support a sensibly phased infrastructure expansion for power and tele/data communications with our sustainable cable protection systems at short notice, flexibly, safely and cost-effectively.

Pragmatic concept

Centralized and decentralized energy supply infrastructures as a solution approach

With regard to the spatial design of the energy transition, there are two paradigms initially described as competing:

  • On the one hand, energy can be provided close to consumption in small systems, for example by a photovoltaic system on the roof.
  • On the other hand, energy can be generated primarily in regions with good wind and solar resources and can also be transported over longer distances to the consumer, using large renewable energy plants with several hundred megawatts of capacity.

Why not intelligently combine the best of both approaches?
With a mix of centralized and decentralized technologies and smart coordination mechanisms, our energy supply can be made climate-friendly, secure and competitive.

Intelligently networked

Smart Grid – the power supply of the future

Smart grids optimally coordinate the generation, storage, and consumption of electricity to compensate for power fluctuations. Such variations in performance occur as weather conditions change. To prevent widespread power outages, smart appliances (e.g. washing machines) should use electricity when there is a surplus. The remainder is to be stored in batteries designed for this purpose. In this way, smart grids enable efficient utilization of the energy network without overloading it.

Within a smart grid, data is transported in addition to energy. This allows network operators to obtain real-time information on energy production and consumption.

Good to know
Smart grids are intelligent electricity networks that ensure that energy producers, storage facilities and consumers communicate with each other. Information and communication technologies (ICT) and decentrally organized energy management systems are used for this purpose.

The family brand Beku

Beku – Plastics plants

Our brand world is characterized by quality and consistency.

Our heart beats for pipes. Pipes that ensure our supply infrastructure in building construction and civil engineering. Pipes that safely perform supply and disposal tasks. Pipes made of high-quality plastics that will consistently do their job for decades and will eventually be 100% recycled.

We are growing and are constantly looking for new, active “joiners”.

Everything from a single source.
We take responsibility for complete system solutions.

Because our customers want safe and functioning complete systems from a single source. That’s why our respective product portfolio includes not only a wide range of pipe cross-sections and lengths, but also all connecting elements, special adhesives and even matching toolings.

And because we manufacture in the middle of Germany with dedicated employees, we deliver reliably and at short notice, even in challenging times.

This is what we mean by made in germany!

We also fulfil individual wishes of our customers in terms of cable protection, as our range includes everything related to cable protection and special designs can be manufactured in our in-house workshop construction.

FOR LOVE OF EAST WESTPHALIA

Our location - with both feet permanently on the ground

East Westphalia-Lippe is a German parallel universe, in the middle of Germany.

If you take the magnifying glass in hand and bend over the map, you will discover fields, hills and forests and four intersecting highways. A provincial location that could hardly be more central. It is teeming with craftsmen, machine and furniture makers, food factories, printers and plastic manufacturers of all kinds.

There is “a lot going on here,” as the people who live here dryly describe their concentrated economic power.
